There are many ways and method and techniques to change the mindset, yet it can’t change one of its fundamental nature, that is the obsession to seek change. Do you know why do we call it as mindset? because all its contents have already been set up. Parents set up one part, school set another part, culture set up one part and media set up a major part. Chunks and slices and pieces. They had been collected and set up through the process of evolution and social conditioning.
One thought wants to influence and dominate few other thoughts and patterns. You name that one thought as “me” and other thoughts together as mindset. This pattern is going on unnoticed for a long time. Where are you? Who wants change? Is it not the same mind? Be on the watch.
You can move from one floor to another floor, kitchen to bed room, but within the house only. Mindset is that closed house. Real change happens when you catch that fellow who is not changing the habit of seeking change all the time. For that, you must be on the watch. That’s from where light enters into the darkest corners of the house. Otherwise, you may keep wandering from one corner to another corner with a hope of betterment, climbing up and getting down several times through the steps reaching nowhere, and working out methods and following disciplines, becoming dull and yet hoping for another change.
I know you are tired Enough is enough. Stay away. Stay awake. Be on the watch. The light might be even flickering, but it will surely destroy the darkness. The One who is watching is neither the tenant of the house nor bound by the house. It is changeless, immutable and indestructible.
This could be the only real change you can bring about.
