How can we bring commitment?

What do we all want in life?  Peace, joy, love, freeedom and fulfilment.

What is our experience currently? boredom, frustration, stress, worry and dissatisfcation.  We will call them all by one name "misery"

We all want freedom from misery and be free and happy, but we don't know how to bring that transformation.  We are so stressed and confused that we are unable to find a way out of this mess. Is this not our only problem?

Q: How can we bring the kind of commitment of Saptrishi's, Dhruv, or Bodhisattva in us?

And then commitment for what?

A: First, this stress must go away.  For that, we must increase our prana.  Once, prana is high, then, your mind will be calm, quiet, focused and get the capacity to understand.

Sadhana is given the most important by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravishankar.  Pranayama and Kriya are very important tools to increase the Prana.  Sudharshan Kriya means the action to get clear vision.

So, our first commitment is to do our sadhana regularly.  Many seekers and even some masters ignore spiritual practices.  They consider themselves advanced. They are not progressing at all.  It is very difficult to be in knowledge without preparing our body and mind.

The daily practices purify the body and mind so that you can sit with the Master in Upanishad.  Otherwise, however wonderful the wisdom words may be, we will not get it rightly.  There are excellent books available in market.  You may listen to wisdom videos of great teachers.  But, they can not bring needed transformation,  only become heavy on our head.  The food may be nutritious but the stomach should have the digestive fire, right?  Otherwise, the food will stay undigested causing pain and diarrhoea.  Samething  with knowledge, we need prana to digest the knowledge.

Let us be committed to 40 days to do our sadhana.  Is it ok?  If you have not done the course, I suggest you to do it.  Let us take a baby step.  Dhruv, Bodhisatwa and Saptarishis had great commitment.  We will take small commitment.  It's good enough.

This repetitive pattern of life can change easily.  Listen to the Guru.  Follow his instructions.  Give Sadhana, seva and Satsang higher priority in  your life.

The practices will give you the strength and capability to bring the transformation. You will not feel weak.  You will be empowered.
